Awe, Who Farted?

I compiled different spaces and places to try and understand this story. In Immokalee, Florida a 37 year old woman, and her 53 year old boyfriend, were at home watching television together.
They were said to be intoxicated when the incident occurred.
They started to argue, possibly about finances, when she said he started getting upset. He got up and farted in her face before heading to the kitchen.
She then confronted him about the incident. She said he got angry and her boyfriend of 6 years, then threw an 8 inch blade at her from the kitchen, but he missed. So, she threw it back, but she didn't miss.
Then she runs outside and returns to smack him in the arm with a stick.
Police found him bleeding from the stomach and the arm.
She is now being held on charges of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. Her bond is set at $50,000.
Hmmmm.......
So what do you think about it?
Personally, I was laughing in disbelief when I heard about this. When I first heard about it, I was told that she stabbed him for farting in her face, and that was all I was told. I didn't hear about the arguing or any other circumstance. What would you do in this situation? Do you think he threw the knife first? What charges should she be facing? Should he be facing charges also?
