Due
to the increase in today's DNA testing, they were able to re-evaluate some of
the evidence in the Gloria Pointer Case. The DNA results gave them a hit.
Hernandez Warren was the result of that DNA hit and has been arrested as
the perpetrator in this case.
He
is being held on a $5 mil bond. Warren has pleaded "Not Guilty".
Court proceedings are to begin June 4, 2013.
Yvonne
Pointer, the mother of Gloria Pointer, has done many things to keep her
daughter's case in the media through the years. She has since started a
foundation to help others that have been affected by similar
circumstances.
