Family of Missing Young Woman Looks for Help From Public

Shinnston, WV - Some may have seen this photo on Facebook of Miss Joyce Horner. Fox 10 News posted an article with mis-information. It is not Brittany Horner (Joyce Horner's sister) that is missing, it is Joyce Horner (pictured above). 

Joyce Horner is from Shinnston, WV. She has also lived with family in Clarksburg, WV. Joyce was in Morgantown, WV visiting her sister, Brittany Horner. Joyce left her sister's house and has not been seen or heard from since then. 

Her mother, Donna Hughes, last spoke to Joyce on October 3rd, 2013. She was also seen with a male subject leaving a club near Morgantown, WV. She had went there, on her birthday, to see a friend play in a band, "Allied Brothers." Her friend said that he never was able to speak to her that night. He said that she looked upset and left with an unfamiliar male. He said it was out of her character to leave without saying a word. She is generally a bubbly happy person. 

The family is looking for answers; they just want to know that Joyce is safe. She has not been active with her social accounts or contacted any of her family or known friends. 

Joyce Horner is described as 5 ft. 5 in. tall, long blonde hair, approx. 120 lbs and has light freckles on her face. If you see Joyce Horner or have any information to help in locating Ms. Horner, please call the Monogalia County Sheriff's Department in West Virginia at: 304-291-7260.
