Syria: The Russian and French; Present Take On Events

SYRIA: Russian and French Present Views in the News

Leaders are meeting with their subordinates today in various countries in the world to discuss their positions with Syria's recent chemical attack on its people.

"American Rebels?"

Russia's President Putin talks about his views regarding United States going Rebel from the UN. Below is an Associated Press Interview clip of President Putin speaking about US involvement in the Syrian situation.

It would seem that Putin is more concerned about United States taking rogue actions against Syria. He talks about the UN as a whole.  He believes that the decision of accountability and responsibility should be made by the UN and not by an independent country taking matters into their own hands. He believes by doing so, is an aggression against Syria.

The Russian President seems to be backing the United Nations as a unit with no tolerance for rebellious actions by rogue UN members.

If you have been following any of the news in regards to President Putin's stand on Syria, then you may have viewed the clip when he speaks about the lack of proof of Syrian Government involvement. He says that he will not accept the word from the American Secret Service about what they intercepted within Syria's communications. He wants physical proof.

On the other hand, we have the French Prime Minister Ayrault addressing the Parliament and seems to support Obama's ideas of who should be held accountable in the Syrian chemical attack against its people.

While telling them that the UN was there to investigate the attack to verify the use of chemical weapons and not to determine who was responsible, he went on to tell them who he thought was to be held accountable for the chemical attack. Prime Minister Ayrault believes the the Syrian Regime is responsible for the chemical attack on its own people.

He states that they believe that the chemical attack was used by the Regime, against the opposition, to regain control of that particular targeted area. He says that they are trying to get that control through force and even killing.

The French Prime Minister reminds the Parliament of the lack willingness, from the Syrian Regime, to communicate with the United Nations or its Humanity Committee at any time. He blames Russia and China for blocking any Political resolutions with the regime.

Euronews recorded this live event of the the Parliaments Debate.

We would like to know how the public feels about the Syrian situation.
